“I had several important issues to discuss & Dr. Patel never rushed me or dismiss my concerns. We covered my list of questions & I left feeling heard & more comfortable about everything. We resolved some things right then & I felt better. My only problem was difficulty checking in. Though there were 4 people who could have helped me, 2 were on the phone & 2 were involved in a lengthy discussion with another patient. Eventually I was able to get registered & was called back fairly quickly (less than 10 min?). The nurse was attentive & understood my concerns. Dr. Patel came in within about 5-10 min after she left. My insurance is annoying but Dr. Patel helped me feel better about it all. ”

About Dr. Pratik Patel
Dr. Pratik Patel attended Texas A&M for his undergraduate studies before earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN, where he served as Chief Resident from 2015 to 2016. Prior to joining the IKP family in October 2017, Dr. Patel spent a year working at Baptist Urgent Care. He brings strong skills, experience, and enthusiasm for family health care to the practice, with a deep passion for primary care and preventive medicine.
Dr. Patel is happy to be back home in Spring, TX, where he grew up. He enjoys spending his downtime doing all things Houston with his amazing wife. They are avid foodies who love to travel and spend as much time as possible with family and friends, cheering on H-town sports teams!

Dr. Patel, was one of the kindest doctors I’ve ever seen and met. He was very interested in my complicated Healthcare and took lots of notes. He asked lots of questions and listened to my every word. He had suggestions that I was not aware of and I will follow up on. I was very impressed on my first time visit, and I look forward to working with him in the future. I would also recommend him to anyone that needs a general practitioner Or family doctor. He’s been my husband’s doctor for several years and my husband speaks so highly of him that I made the move over to this office and to this doctor specifically the whole staff is great.

The initial meeting was pleasant and he is a good listener. I haven't had a PCP visit for more then a year so I was apprehensive. I felt he and the center were a good choice to be in their care. Office is very convenient and not far from my area. Would definitely recommend to others.

First visit with Dr. Patel. The office was clean, smelled nice, and the staff were very friendly and assistive. I had a lot to review and both Dr. Patel’s Medical Assistant and he himself were extremely friendly and professional. My history and concerns were listened to and met with plans of action, moving forward. Dr. Patel is knowledgeable and seeks to provide quality service and care. The staff’s efficiency made collecting referrals and making appointments very easy and efficient. I’m beyond pleased to have met Dr. Patel and look forward to a long history of care with him as my PCP. I believe and felt that he cared for me and my unique set of circumstances.
