About Dr. Rachel Barr
Dr. Rachel Barr Grzesh is a board-certified Gynecologist who specializes in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. She completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and advanced fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Barr Grzesh is originally from Michigan where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Barr Grzesh’s clinical interests include hysteroscopic, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, fibroids, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, abnormal pap smears, contraception management, sexually transmitted infections, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. She has received several awards and honors for her work, including being selected for the Gold Humanism Honor Society as a medical student and the President’s Award from the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons for her research.
