Dr. Rachel Kaminski earned a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, a Master of Science in molecular pathology and a Master of Business Administration in healthcare organization management at Texas Tech University in Lubbock and a medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She completed her residencies in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, followed by a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Texas Tech. Dr. Kaminski, who sees patients of all ages, is board certified in three areas: internal medicine, pediatrics and sports medicine. In addition to her board certifications, she holds certificates in basic life support, pediatric life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. She provides preventive care and treats a wide variety of chronic and acute primary care conditions from diabetes and high blood pressure to joint injuries. Her clinical interests include concussion management, tendon injuries and other joint conditions, migraine management, weight management, breast-feeding medicine and Ehlers Danlos syndrome. Dr. Kaminski’s approach to care centers on collaborative decision making.
