She has a passion for serving children and adolescents who have neurodevelopmental disabilities. Dr. McVey’s goal is to help children and their families understand neurodiversity, develop their identity as neurodivergent individuals, and learn how to navigate their world with a values-based and neurodiversity affirming approach. Outside of work, Dr. McVey is an avid baker and cake decorator. She enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with her dog Charlie.
