About Dr. Rhonda Anderson
Rhonda Anderson, O.D., is a therapeutic and glaucoma-licensed optometrist, board certified by The American Board of Optometry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas.
Dr. Anderson possesses deep knowledge of the information and techniques required to diagnose, treat, and manage ocular injuries, diseases, and refractive and binocular eye conditions. She is dedicated to excellence, ensuring that best practices and procedures are implemented and supported by superior interpersonal, organizational, technical, and assessment skills.
Raised in Baytown, Texas, where her father and uncle are optometrists, Dr. Anderson enjoys giving back to her community through service in local clubs, associations, and charity leagues. She also leads numerous vision screenings at events and local schools, both public and private. Alongside her optometrist husband, Dr. Mark Anderson, she spends many hours advancing her knowledge through extensive continuing education classes and study clubs. She is a long-standing member of The American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Harris County Optometric Association.
When not in the office treating patients, Dr. Anderson enjoys hiking and snow skiing with her husband and their two children.

The staff in the front office as well as the assistant were very polite, helpful, and friendly. When I was seen by Dr. Rhonda Anderson, she definitely did not have bedside manners. She came right in the office and was very impersonable. She started putting drops in my eyes without explaining what they were and what she was doing it for. I had to ask her to explain everything to me, and was not friendly at all. I was very uncomfortable. She also dilated my eyes and gave me no further instructions. She ended up having to refer me to another clinic for a second opinion because she wasn’t sure what was going on. I honestly felt like she didn’t know what she was doing when she was examining my eyes. I wasted 3 hours of my time and money being there because I got absolutely no answers from this doctor.
I left out of her office more clueless and scared than when I entered her office. I was truly hoping to have a great experience with this doctor, but I will definitely not be going back.

The visit was neutral. I was suggest if you are unsure about the clarity in between the difference between Lens. Make sure you voice that or say the same, As to avoid any possible confusion or irritation. I live in that the staff was neutral not super friendly not very unfriendly the location with clean parking plentiful and I must say nice decor. You do have to do a new patient sign up on an iPad but it’s pretty easy and after that I was seeing maybe 10 or 15 minutes after that so not a very long wait. Overall 55% chance I would use this office again!
