Riaz Rahman is a compassionate and diligent internist based in Monroe, NY. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. He then moved to the United States and completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at Monmouth Medical Center.
Dr. Rahman is a part of Crystal Run Healthcare and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Because he is bilingual in English and Urdu, patients from a variety of backgrounds enjoy having him as their physician. Outside of his practice, Dr. Rahman enjoys family time, photography, basketball, tennis, and electronics.

I booked a doctor's appointment at Cristal Run, Monroe NY, with Doctor Rahman on November 2nd, 2023 at 07:30 am. Almost upon arrival I was met by his assistant who brought me into the examination room and made all necessary preparation before meeting Dr. Rahman. The doctor walked into the room and he immediately greeted me with a friendly smile. He interviewed me on my medical history, and health related issues and then went on to explain the importance of such fact finding details. Dr. Rahman expressed himself in a very professional, concise and clear manner when clarifying what his objective is in moving forward with my health concerns. He is an excellent listener and communicator. Of high importance to me is that Dr. Rahman always made eye contact when we spoke, and always stopped his actions whenever I asked a question showing legitimate concern. His demeanor tells me we are going to have an excellent Doctor-patient relationship.
I highly recommend Dr. Rahman to anyone.

Dr. Riaz Rahman is a skilled physician that communicates clearly and is thorough in providing care. I also appreciate that he is not focused on prescribing medications, but working with you for overall complete healthcare. I switched insurance companies because the insurance coverage I had no longer covered his office. It was worth changing insurance companies to keep this provider.
