About Dr. Richard Doble

Dr. Richard Doble is a Sebastopol-based Chiropractor who graduated from Life Chiropractic College - West in 1992 and has practiced in San Francisco and Sonoma County for 30 years.Dr. Doble discovered chiropractic when he was a teenager after acquiring a series of neck and back injuries while participating in wrestling, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and manual labor. After seeing several medical doctors who were unable to help him he sought the help of a chiropractor. He realized that medicine offered no solution for people with problems like his and chiropractic did. After working in the chiropractic field for several years and gaining experience in the different methods of chiropractic, Dr. Doble was adjusted by Dr. Bryan Duff with the Palmer Method of Upper Cervical Chiropractic. This one Toggle Recoil adjustment did more for him than all of the other chiropractic methods that he tried and cured his lifelong migraine headaches. This one adjustment had such a profound impact on Dr. Doble that he was compelled to learn this method. Dr. Doble learned all he could from Dr. Duff and then searched the world for chiropractors who had learned firsthand from the developer of chiropractic Dr. B.J. Palmer. In 1999 Dr. Doble finally found Dr. Clarence Jenson from Carmichael Ca. who learned directly from the master Dr. B.J. Palmer himself in the 1950s. Dr. Doble's five-year mentorship under Dr. Jenson helped him become a world expert on the B.J. Palmer Upper Cervical HIO method. Dr. Doble is passionate about his work and doing chiropractic the right way. With his experience of consulting thousands of patients over the years and living in a body that has aged over that period of time, he has acquired a natural instinct for the work.
