Getting to know Dr. Richard G. Allen

Hi there, I'm Dr. Rich Allen. I earned my PsyD in School Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, an EdS in School Psychology from Rowan University, and both my Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Psychology from Saint Joseph's University. Are you feeling overwhelmed with your day-to-day work, relationships, and health? Or perhaps you've experienced a loss or setback recently and are having trouble "bouncing back"? Is it hard to make time for yourself? I help support adults, children, and families who may be dealing with various challenges related to anxiety, depression, attention problems, and social difficulties. Together, we can identify helpful changes to bring you closer to your personal and professional goals and enhance your relationships with the important people in your life. We can also develop strategies to help you cope with life's stressors and get you back on track toward a healthier, happier life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to work together in our initial session to develop clear goals and gain some insight into the nature of their data-to-day challenges. Following sessions will include a collaborative effort to develop skills to navigate through their challenges and enhance their overall quality of life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
