A native New Yorker, Dr. Ritu Saini received her medical degree with an honors distinction in biochemistry at the New York University School of Medicine after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. During medical school, she spent a year performing basic science research in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU and was the recipient of several prestigious research grants from the American Federation for Aging Research and the American Dermatological Association. She then went on to complete a dermatology residency at the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. At Miami, she was awarded several mentorship and training grants by the Women's Dermatologic Society and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Ritu Saini is specially trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery under the direction of world-renowned Mohs surgeon Dr. Perry Robins, Professor Emeritus of New York University Department of Dermatology.
