About Dr. Rixt Luikenaar
Dr. Luikenaar is a genderqueer Board Certified Physician in (Pediatric) Gynecology and a WPATH GEI SOC8 certified transgender health specialist. We offer care to all communities, including people who are LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Neurodivergent, into kink/BSDM, asexual, polyamorous, or polygamous, and all who respect and value other humans. We no longer practice obstetrics but focus on gynecology, reproductive health and fertility, sexuality, hormone therapy, preventive care, and mental health care (also around life transitions such as puberty, postpartum period, menopause, etc). We prescribe PrEP, Suboxone, and Medical Marijuana recommendations. We have helped over 7000 transgender and gender-expansive patients transition. Dr Luikenaar is co-author of the first Trans*Gynecology textbook published in 2023. Dr. Luikenaar obtained a postgraduate degree in Psychedelic Therapies and we offer ketamine treatments.

I love doctor Rixt Luikenaar - she is very professional and nice person in general, bad I always need to wait an hour or more before my turn and it is very annoying. And then when I want to do extra stuff like remote the mole she is asking to reschedule for that, because my appointment is only for 15 minutes. that is a huge minus.

Amazing doctor and wonderful staff. My only complaint was that they were running a bit behind. It was honestly worth it waiting because Dr. Luikenaar was great, but if you have things scheduled after your appointment you might run into problems.

She is great and I am so happy I found her! Very personable, thorough and knowledgeable. Really made me feel at ease and addressed my biggest concern. Love the office staff from the receptionist to the the amazing MA's. It's a cozy, little office, but awesome. Grateful that when I make an appt, the doctor respects that and is punctual.

The dr herself was good! The office itself needs work.... You can hear everything everyone is saying. I was in a room with Windows and they definitely need better blinds....... I was changing into a gown and you can see people walking in the main entrance I had to turn away and hope that I wasn't seen. And the blinds were shut...... Also when I was beginning to get examined the nurse opened the door the doc was quick to cover me but come on...... Really. I liked the dr.... I will maybe go back for her. She spent more time with me than most...... But please please get different blinds and please give people a better warning before you walk out of the room. I feel mean for saying that but I hope that doesn't happen to anyone else.... How awkward for me and the dr. I

I really liked Dr. Luikenaar's bedside manner and her helpfulness in addressing my concerns. This was my very first vaginal exam and I was pretty scared, as I'm a virgin with a very intact hymen, and she really eased me through it. She is both nice and knowledgeable--the two best traits a physician should have, and I really like her. I give her my highest recommendation to others seeking a top-quality ob/gyn.
