What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect that I will strive to "go at your pace" in therapy. Many patients understandably need time to warm up and allow trust to build, while others are ready to dive right in. I typically engage parents to be active participants in their child's or teen's care, as parent involvement tends to lead to better outcomes. Additionally, teens often benefit from having a private space to talk openly, which is why sessions are often a combination of individual therapy and parent/youth therapy. For parents of very young kids, parent work is usually the primary mode of treatment. You can also expect to collaborate on setting goals, developing action steps/practice work, and monitoring progress throughout treatment in order to meet our established goals.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
