About Dr. Rosana Rodriguez
Born in Puerto Rico, Dr. Rosana Rodriguez earned her medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Miami /Jackson Memorial Hospital and joined South Miami OB/GYN Associates in 2021.
During her residency, Dr. Rodriguez was the recipient of numerous awards, including Best Resident Research Presentation, the SLS Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Resident Surgeon Award, and the John Ford Award, annually presented to the resident who has shown outstanding performance in gynecology during the course of training.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Rodriguez is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

I was a new patient and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and approachable. We were especially impressed with Dr. Rodriguez, truly one of the best in South Florida. She was patient and kind with both me and my daughter, who was visiting an OB/GYN for the first time. Dr. Rodriguez was attentive, answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. Her aide, Mari, was just as friendly, patient, and efficient. The wait time was very reasonable, much better than most offices and the staff has been responsive and helpful over the phone. Their flexibility with scheduling is also a huge plus. I’m looking forward to being a long-time patient of Dr. Rodriguez!

Dr. Rodriguez is such an amazing doctor. She’s definitely not one of those factory process doctors… patients in/ patients out. She cares about her patients and takes the time to explain and make you feel comfortable during your appointment. She’s patient, empathetic, extremely professional, and knowledgeable. While I was there everyone was kind but when I got a call about my results the nurse was rude. I was asking questions because I didn’t know what things were and she had an attitude as if it was an inconvenience to have to answer them. I felt extremely uncomfortable and confused after getting my results.
