Getting to know Dr. Ross Pepper

I am a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of adults. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Rice University, I completed my Doctor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. I then completed my residency training at the University of Illinois Chicago, where I focused on the individual treatment of adult patients with mood and anxiety disorders using a comprehensive approach to mental health involving medication and therapy. During training, I also gained valuable experience managing a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, substance use disorders, and PTSD, among many others. My experience working with Chicago’s diverse patient population has deepened my awareness of the unique challenges they face. I recognize how difficult it can be to find a new provider in today’s healthcare landscape who meets your individual needs. That is why I believe in providing a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment for all patients, regardless of their background. I embrace a holistic approach to mental health that goes beyond medication management. I understand that therapy can be vital for gaining insight into our own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as well as encouraging positive change. Overall, I am committed to helping my patients achieve optimal quality of life and navigate new challenges along the way.
