“Dr. Husa was one of the kindest providers I’ve ever seen. While she quickly ruled out cardiology issues as my problem, instead of running out of the room like most doctors would she stayed and tried to brainstorm different ideas and paths for me to figure out my symptoms. While it was not her job it meant the world to me. There aren’t a lot of doctors out there like this and I wish more could be as kind as her. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She was also extremely intelligent immediately coming up with diagnoses for me not related to her area of specialty. She also recognized multiple of my extremely rare diseases that have nothing to do with cardio which is also very rare in medicine. Her and her staff tolerated and respected my large service dog and they overall just so nice and professional. ”

About Dr. Ruchika Husa

Dr. Ruchika Husa is a cardiologist in North Denver. She received a master's degree in medical physiology and a medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. She completed an internship and residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of California, San Diego. From there, Dr. Husa was an assistant professor at Ohio State University in Columbus where she focused on cardiovascular imaging, and teaching and caring for patients. During this time, she continued researching sudden cardiac death. Dr. Husa is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. "I chose a career as an evidence-based doctor so that I may apply the best science available to improve the lives of my patients." Married with a young daughter, Dr. Husa is a passionate cook who is working on becoming a master at the grill and an avid traveler. Some of her favorite places in the world include Thailand for its food, Japan for its history, and Peru for its outdoor activities and exploration.
