About Dr. Samantha Kincaid
Dr. Kincaid is originally from Scotland but has spent almost 30 years living in the US. She attended San Diego State University for her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2008. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating with honors from Western University of Health Sciences in 2014.
Dr. Kincaid has a special interest in primary eye care and is experienced in the co-management of refractive and cataract surgeries, ocular disease diagnosis and management, and specialty contact lens fittings.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Colorado Optometric Association, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometry Honors Society.
Dr. Kincaid lives with her husband Jeff and their dog Remy. In her free time, you will likely find her hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be part of Southglenn Eyecare and to provide quality eye care services to her community.

I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Kincaid and her office! She did an excellent job and made the whole experience so easy. I had LASIK a little over a year ago and was told to keep up with yearly exams, and I’m so glad I found her for mine!

The office had horrible vibes. One staff member snapped at two customers while I was sitting there. They didn’t have an appt down for someone else and when they pointed to the lady who had scheduled them, they were like oh yeah. Being ignored, snubbed and treated like I shouldn’t be there, I knew it wasn’t the place for me. Plus over an hour wait is ridiculous.

If you have a service animal do not use this doctor! They refuse service animals in their office due to allergies. This goes against the 1990 ADA for service animals. The individual that first assisted me told me that people tie their dogs outside because they're not allowed in the building and she asked me to do the same with my animal. I'm absolutely disgusted! I told herI would never do that to my dog nor will I put my dog in the car for a half hour appointment. ZocDoc nor company has anything listed that service animals or support animals are not allowed.

Dr. Kincaid was personable and friendly. It was my first eye examination with her. I previously saw Dr. Pederson. I do not live in the area. Southglenn Eyecare was recommended by a friend. It is worth the drive for a thorough and comfortable exam. I met a friend for dinner after my examination who does live in the area and recommended Samantha Kincaid and Jon Pederson to her since she does not have a regular Optometrist.

The staff is all very welcoming and explain everything you are being charge vs what your insurance covers. Someone helped me pick out glasses while waiting to be seen by the doctor which was very helpful. Love this doctor's office ??

At the appointment, it felt as if every problem I was experiencing was actually an issue. With every symptom I listed, she had a series of questions that related to it, and helped narrow down what the problem could be. Alongside that, she was a very good communicator and listener, she would list things that may help and question if they fit my schedule and if it was possible to do them. Brilliant! :D

Dr. Kinkaid is an excellent optometrist. She always makes time for my questions, and makes me feel like my concerns are valid and important. I always feel heard, and that is so important to me. She genuinely cares about her patients and it comes through each and every visit. I couldn't recommend Dr. Kincaid's care more.

Dr. Kinkaid was professional and efficient. Staff was kind. Had minor concern about the lack of alcohol use when sanitizing before seeing the doctor but otherwise the visit was excellent. Overall, I would recommend visiting here for an eye exam.

I had a great experience at Southglenn Eyecare! The staff was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Kincaid was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. She made sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way; Dr. Kincaid was more than happy to answer my questions. Although the office was experiencing some electrical issues in a few of their exam rooms, the staff and doctors quickly adapted. I was seen on time and my exam was finished within the hour-long appointment time frame.
If you’re a contact lens wearer, they can ship them to you! There’s a small shipping charge if it’s under a year’s supply for daily contacts, but it’s a small fee to pay for this convenience.
The office was easy to locate, and there is parking on site. Enter through the door from the parking lot, and the office is right inside.
They were able to apply my vision insurance easily and without issue, so I was very pleased with this, too.
I will definitely be back for my next routine eye exam!
