“I really don’t want to rate Doc. Sam to high because to many people would then request him which would make it harder for me to get in. I cannot say I was seen on time because I was seen ahead of time. Truely a unique experience. The only dark cloud was in getting my prescription. I understand that problem has been corrected.”

About Dr. Samuel Stahly
Dr. Samuel Stahly is a dermatologist with advanced training in medical, surgical, and pediatric dermatology. He is passionate about providing thorough, compassionate care for patients of all ages and stays at the forefront of his field through ongoing research and attending national conferences. Originally from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Dr. Stahly received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Missouri. Following his graduation, he attended the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating near the top of his class and receiving the school’s prestigious student of the year award. He completed his transitional year of residency at Unity Health in Searcy, Arkansas, before beginning dermatology residency with the KCU-GME Consortium/Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in Orlando, Florida. He has authored multiple research papers in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and other peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national dermatology conferences. Dr. Stahly also enjoys volunteering in community health clinics and regularly attends international medical mission trips.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Stahly enjoys tennis, golf, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, camping, and playing the mandolin.

I was hoping he would do some tests on the blisters I’ve been having since I had an open wound to do a swab from. He didn’t do any tests even after I asked “if they keep showing up a year from now then will you test” he said no and that the hand foot and mouth I had before chemo just hadn’t shed from my body yet. Anyways my general practitioner did a blood test and confirmed that my results were 25X higher than normal for HSV 2 so essentially I’ve been having herpes breakouts since last October because of the chemo and immune suppression. She prescribed a medicine to help. I also had a spot on my face that I wanted removed one of those harder pimples you can find around your eyes sometimes… he said “it’s not cancerous, some people can remove them in their own”… but I wanted a professional’s help with it. This doctor is nice with good bedside manner, but lacks curiosity.
