Sandhya Venugopal is a detail-oriented and engaging INTERNIST serving the cities of Glendale, Phoenix and Scottsdale in Arizona. Originally from India, Dr. Venugopal earned her medical degree from the Stanley Medical College in Tamil Nadu, India. She then immigrated to the United States and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Venugopal is fluent in an impressive number of languages, namely English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Her knowledge and awareness of these different languages and cultures make her widely accessible to patients from varying backgrounds. Patients see Dr. Venugopal for a myriad of reasons, including pneumonia, high blood pressure, diabetes, GERD, and pyelonephritis.
In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, Dr. Venugopal offers a range of acute, chronic, and preventative medical care services. Beginning January 2024, The Practice will transition to CONCIERGE CARE - A MEMBERSHIP IS NEEDED FOR NEW PATIENTS. CASH PAY patients are welcome to pay in full for each visit WITHOUT Membership.
IF patients choose to use their Insurance, the practice will agree to file on their behalf for a NOMINAL PROCESSING FEE OF 100 dollars per year.
