About Dr. Sang An
Dr. Sang An is a therapeutic optometrist, as well as a glaucoma specialist, who specializes in treating patients with eye diseases and disorders, such as blepharitis, glaucoma, corneal degeneration, corneal dystrophy, and patients with post-surgical, keratoconic, multi-focal, astigmatic, or other difficult to fit prescriptions for gas permeable and soft contact lenses.
Dr. An attended the University of Texas at Dallas for two years before transferring to the University of Houston to pursue his dream of becoming an optometrist. After completing his undergraduate study, Dr. An was admitted to the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2002, where he received comprehensive clinical training and experience, positioning him to provide excellent eye care services.

Dr. An and his staff were all very polite and professional. Each individual was careful and also knowledgeable of their job. They each gave me some very useful information. Their selection of frames were large, fashionable and reasonably priced. My overall visit was extremely pleasant, painless and timely. I would refer his office to my friends and family.

Dr An is really good and really does everything to help his patients. The waiting area is small and can be overcrowded quickly. Office has updated equipment. I think I found my eye clinic.... Thanks.

when we came in nobody greeted us. We waited over an hour, at 3:30 when someone did greet us they said we came in too late and asked if we could schedule a new appointment. My appointment was at 2:30. We got there at 2:30. I explained to them we got there at the time of my appointment. They went to talk to the doctor, he did see us. However, I did not feel like we received good customer service. I will not go back.

We were seen almost immediately and the staff was fast and efficient. The only complaint was the front staff communicated in their native language which is thought to be unprofessional by some. However they were very friendly! I would definitely go back!

Little hard to find, but once you know where it is, easy to get to. Nice environment, quiet and friendly. Short wait, doctor and staff kind and helpful. Also they will give you pupillary distance for no extra charge.

Everyone was very friendly! Quick appointment. The doctor is awesome and finally nailed my contact prescription... I've seen several eye doctors over the years that had a tough time. He gave me lots of great tips which I'm thankful for. Definitely recommend!!

Dr. Sang An was great. He was super professional and made my first eye appointment a breeze. However, I do feel like there was a little information or instruction left unsaid. I could have proved for it though, but didn't realize I had questions about my treatment. Overall, I was very pleased!
