About Dr. Sara Varghai
Dr. Sara Varghai is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ohio State University and earned her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Varghai's extensive experience includes rotations at Katzen Eye Group, a multi-disciplinary private practice in Baltimore, MD, and William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. She later completed a one-year residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, with a heavy emphasis on ocular disease, as well as focus on specialty contact lenses and low vision rehabilitation. Dr. Varghai is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Varghai has always had a passion for helping her patients see and feel their best by providing thorough eye exams, and making sure each patient is educated on the health of their eyes and how to best prevent ocular diseases. It was from this passion that NOVA Optique + Eyecare was founded.

Got upsold probably a little on the glasses, but the experience was great, everyone was really nice. Really cool technology to check eyes. Sales on the glasses weren't pressured, the person was kind showed many options.

I have never paid that much for an annual vision check in my life.
The exam font size seemed smaller than usual. Maybe this makes it more accurate, but it is humbling when you know you have decent vision. The doctor's voice is way too loud. I was surprised to see so many measurements to fit frames as no one I know has ever had that done. Front office staff were friendly and I did find frames I liked and got updated scripts, but I don't think the customer service is worth it.

This has been one of the best experiences I have had at a doctor's office! From the minute we walked in, everyone in the staff was extremely kind and helpful, along with the fact that everything was clean and the vibe was amazing. The doctor's saw us in no time, listened, was extremely kind and answered all of our questions and concerns. The equipment was clean and looked brand new. All in all, our problem was resolved and we will definitely be going back! Thank you!

Parking on the street was easy to find (if not, there are a couple garages nearby). Staff was super friendly. Dr. Sara Varghai answered all of my questions and I appreciated that she showed me the pictures they take of my eyes and explained what she looks for with some of the hereditary eye issues that I may find myself in the future. I went for a contacts fitting but also ended up getting contacts and a new pair of glasses that was part of a package deal. Overall- a great experience.
