About Dr. Sarah Todd
Sarah Todd, MD received her Bachelor’s Degree from Washington University. She received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine where she was elected to the AOA honor society. Following medical school, Dr. Todd completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Maryland and a dermatology residency at Georgetown University where she was chief resident.

First visit with a dermatologist in probably 25 years. We couldn’t get to everything on my list on the first visit even though the doctor spent more than 20 minutes solely with me and her staff about 10 minutes prior to the doctor beginning her exams. The doctor prioritized my symptoms and suggested a follow up for the rest of the complaints. She listened to everything and only interjected for specific questions and a bit of sympathy with the condition that spurred me to make an appointment in the first place. Dr. Todd is an excellent listener. Time will tell if she is a superior doctor as I have a complex diagnosis that seems to be stumping my other specialists. I was hesitant to make an appt with a doctor who actually had availability so quickly as most specialists have months long waiting lists. Her office staff is professional and competent. Other patients in the waiting area seemed to genuinely trust Dr. Todd which was a comfort.

Overall, my experience was good. Dr.Todd is efficient, thorough and has a lovely bedside manner. Her assistants were friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that the zocdoc registration process which was easy to complete did NOT transfer over to the doctor’s office software, and the office staff called requesting that I complete the intake paperwork online and sent me a link, which did NOT have all the forms they needed, so upon my arrival I had to complete the forms I had already filled out online. This technology glitch is a bit frustrating, and hopefully zocdoc and the physician’s office will get the kinks worked out so the process is efficient.

First visit to this office and doctor left a favorable impression upon me. Cordial greeting by the office staff with appropriate paperwork ready for me. Called back to office for vitals and concerns in an timely manner. Nurse was cordial and prompt in gathering information. Dr. Todd arrived shortly thereafter with background knowledge I provided for my symptoms. She was punctual, cordial, informed, and a good listener. She provided options for my issue and responded to all my questions. I felt the doctor and nurse worked very well together as a team to address all my concerns in a professional and knowledgeable manner. I was very pleased after my first visit.

Dr. Todd was running a little late and the first thing she did was apologize and thank me for my patience. Back in the day, we used to accept a 2 hour wait before we got to see the doctor and I have even packed snacks or even a sandwich before taking off for an appointment.! 30 - 45 minutes to wait is really nothing. It hasn't happened before and she did say one appointment was more involved than anticipated. If you were the person who needed an extra 15 minutes, you would be grateful that she took extra time with your treatment! I have been very happy with this practice and would happily wait an hour to see her. She's young and cares about her patients.

I felt welcome, the staff were very friendly and supportive in filling out paperwork, Medicare information, etc. I really liked Dr. Todd as she immediately told me she could help, the procedure was done that day and I am awaiting the pathology report. They will call me when it arrives. Everything was handled with great care for the patient and I would highly recommend Dr. Sarah Todd, MD.

I was hoping to establish a relationship with a dermatologist for the long term. Was told upon scheduling that new patients were given 1/2 hour appointments. Dr. zipped in, never introduced herself, said, "let's see what we've got," and was out of the room in less than 10 minutes. Tiniest exam room I've ever been in. It felt like I was an inconvenience and did not feel comfortable expressing concerns. Dr. wrote instructions on the back of a piece of scrap paper and the tech then proceeded to tell me all about her dermatological problems. Terrible bedside manner! I drove an hour each way to see this doctor and have never had a more dismissive medical appointment. When I called to cancel follow-up appointment they did not even bother to ask why. The issue I went to her about still persists but I will pursue treatment elsewhere.

This was a very nice, professional experience. Staff was friendly, Doctor was engaging , thorough and competent. I felt at easy and very well taken care of.
Facilities are spartan. Florescent lightened in waiting area is not very attractive.
Also, could have used a coat rack in the examining room.
