About Dr. Sayra Sievert
Dr. Sayra Sievert has been a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in Jacksonville for over 24 years.
She graduated Cum Laude from the University of MIami with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. During that time she was inducted into The Iron Arrow Society, the highest honor attainable at the University of Miami. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine during which time she also served as the Student President of the Medical School. She completed her residency in Ob/Gyn at The Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University where she was elected Chief Administrative Resident by the staff and received various awards, including Best Teaching Resident.
Dr. Sayra Sievert met her husband, Paul, in medical school, and upon completing their residencies, they relocated to Jacksonville where Paul grew up. Sayra then began her career in private practice. She practiced both obstetrics and gynecology for 22 years and now focuses solely on gynecology. Sayra and Paul have 3 adult children, one who just started medical school. Sayra's personal interests include playing tennis, watching movies, playing with her dog and traveling. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Personal Philosophy: I believe that one of the most important things we can do for our patients is to really listen to them. I have always felt that one of my strongest attributes in medicine is that I am a good listener and I like to connect with other people. I try to make my patients feel comfortable when they talk to me.

My whole experience with this office was extremely positive. From the front office, to the care team and Dr. Sievert, I was treated with kindness, non-judemental care and felt listened to and supported. Phenomenal. Dr. Sievert is kind, caring, professional, compassionate, and respectful of my time. I was taken back for my appointment in a timely manner. The wait in the exam room was minimal. I didn't feel rushed with questions I had. She was thorough. Explained everything occurring. She puts you at ease. Very trustworthy of your intimate concerns. Highly recommend her.

Dr Sievert is from far the best Ob-Gyn I had. Her genuine care and attention to details to make you feel comfortable and welcome only equal her professionalism and high competence in ensuring you are well taken care of.
Her team is good as well. The parking makes it easy to get close to the well kept and modern studio. And App to communicate directly with Dr Sievert finished to make this Doctor the best Doctor in her category. Will never look back for any other Ob/Gyn, amazing professional making every interaction kind and nice, effective and responsible. You'll get out of this office lighter and happier. Definitely to recommend.

Dr Sievert came highly recommended. I was having abnormal bleeding and she assessed the situation and took time to explain what she thought was the right thing, then once she did her exam explained why she needed to change the plan and clearly explained the next steps. She was VERY comforting and upfront about what she was seeing and what to do.
