I am a licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with over 20 years of experience working at the intersection of mental health, the criminal justice system, and the families caught in between. I work with adults across all of California and I want to be direct about something from the start. I welcome patients with various insurance. The second truth is that the communities surrounding California’s prisons and detention facilities are often the communities with the fewest mental health resources. These are real places with real families who deserve the same quality of care available anywhere else in California. I do not just understand the psychology of what your family is going through. I understand the system itself how it works, how it fails, and how families can navigate it with more clarity and less suffering. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge.
