Scot Selbo is a caring and diligent internist based in Rock Hill, NY. He earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten. He then moved to the United States and completed his internship as well as residency in internal medicine at Overlook Hospital. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
Dr. Selbo is a part of Crystal Run Healthcare and he is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Outside of his practice, he enjoys Flying RC airplanes, playing basketball, video games, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Selbo is devoted to ensuring the longevity of his patients’ health and developing long-lasting relationships with them. He takes his time to understand symptoms and give correct diagnoses to ensure the continued health of all his patients.

Everything was great. He listened to my medical history as we discussed why I was coming to him. Since this was my first visit with him we had a lot to discuss. We reviewed my medications and came up with a plan for future visits and tests. It was a very positive meeting and I look forward to working with him in the future. His staff was great too.

Dr. Selbo takes time to listen to what you have to say and answers all your questions. He does not constantly look at a computer screen, he looks you in the face and has a conversation. That is hard to find these days. Also, he has never made me feel rushed to be done. I think he is excellent. And frankly, I am picky when it comes to doctors.

Dr. Selbo was very nice and made me feel at ease. He took the time to listen to my concerns and he explained things thoroughly. He included me in the treatment planning as opposed to just telling me what needs to be done. He made sure all of my questions were answered before leaving. I have been having a hard time finding a new primary doctor that I like but I really liked Dr. Selbo and will follow up with him again.

I really liked Dr Selbo and would recommend him to anyone! The only thing I didn't like was the wait. I had 10:45 appt; he came approx 11:20. That's a long time for my "lunch" break.

It was my initial consultation with Dr. Selbo. We talked a bit about my medical records/history, I found him to be receptive and cordial to my questions, and he answered each one of them. He took into account every detail of what I said I needed medically, and he offered solutions specific to each issue. Even though this is the first appointment, I have to say he made me feel very comfortable having him as my doctor. I believe he will have my best interest in mind going forward. Thank you.
