About Dr. Scott Fontana
Scott Fontana, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 1983 and earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Fontana’s special fields of interest include providing thorough, comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings (especially for difficult-to-fit patients), the latest dry eye treatments, and the treatment and management of eye disease.
While in graduate school, Dr. Fontana took a psychology course titled Vision Perception that ignited his interest in the possibilities of a career in optometry.
He particularly enjoys getting to know his patients and putting them at ease by creating a comfortable and easygoing atmosphere. Most importantly, he takes extra care to ensure that all your questions and eye-health concerns are addressed during your visit.
When he is away from the office, Dr. Fontana enjoys supporting the Minnesota Vikings and staying active by fishing, cycling, and skiing.

They know me by name (yes, I've been there a lot lately), but it still matters. The staff and Dr Fontana are very attentive and listen to help solve my issues. I feel that Dr Fontana takes all the time necessary to get my eye care plan right for me.

I have always liked bringing my kids to Eye35. Great customer service and Dr. Fontana coming out to personally review his findings with me was an excellent touch. Office is busy but doesn't ever seem to be overbooked which is also a huge plus. They know our benefits before we walk in usually which helps make decisions quick and easy.

I love EYE35 from Dr. Fontana to Erica and the rest of the staff, they are always friendly and knowledgeable. I have had some eye issues in the past few months Erica always does her best to get me in to see Dr. Fontana. I love EYE35!

I’ve always been very happy with my exams and everyone has always been so nice.
