“My experience was very nice. My only complaint was that the information on your website and Allegheny Health Network Website said he treated the problem I went to see him for but he did not treat that specific problem. He scheduled me with someone within AGH that did, but I wasted my time and his. I wish you could schedule with the office directly. This seems to be the norm for AGH and UPMC. All scheduling is centralized and the person scheduling doesn’t know what the doctors treat specifically.”

About Dr. Scott Schweizer
Dr. Schweizer provides surgical care for patients with hip labral tears, femoral acetabular impingement (FAI), bursitis; ACL, meniscus, knee ligament, rotator cuff, or shoulder labral tears; shoulder impingement; hamstring tears; quad/patella tendon tears; ankle or wrist fractures; and elbow injuries. He is skilled in complex arthroscopic hip procedures, labral reconstruction, knee, hip, and shoulder cartilage restoration, and shoulder replacements.
Dr. Schweizer is clinically interested in adult and pediatric sports medicine for athletic injuries as well as hip, knee, and shoulder arthroscopy. He is a member of the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy (ISHA) and the Hip Preservation Society. He speaks English.
Dr. Schweizer earned his Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University. He completed his residency at the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University, and his fellowship at TRIA Orthopaedic Center.
