About Dr. Shahnoz Rustamova

As a doctor trained in the former Soviet Union, I specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as vaginal reconstructive surgery, urogynecology, and reproductive endocrinology. I graduated from Samarkand State Medical University and completed my residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Now established in my private practice as a gynecologist, I want to help women feel beautiful as well as healthy. I am a member of the International Society of Cosmetogynecology and have passed the written exam portion of the American Board of OB/GYN certification, awaiting an opportunity to take the oral portion. I am also a member of the North American Menopause Society.
I stay abreast of the latest advances and offer endometrial ablation as well as minimally invasive surgeries, including sterilization using Essure.
Please note that I am no longer practicing obstetrics as of December 31, 2009.
