“Dr. Theobald's team were all very professional & kind. He took the time to make sure all my questions were addressed and that I understood my diagnosis, and the scheduling of my Cataract surgery, is made for July ,which works great for me. Having to juggle appointments between myself & my fiance, gave me enough time to make sure we were free. I would definitely recommend Dr. Theobald and the practice to anyone who will listen.”

Dr. Shane Theobald is a primary care optometrist specializing in comprehensive eye care, including the treatment and management of ocular diseases, refractive care, and surgical pre- and post-operative care. With over 18 years of experience in the East Valley, he is dedicated to helping patients better understand their eye health and guiding them toward effective, personalized solutions. Dr. Theobald earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Zoology from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where he was awarded Salutatorian honors. He completed externships at the Millington, Tennessee, Navy Base and a private practice in Bartlett, TN, gaining advanced training in clinical optometry. Dr. Theobald graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors and received the Salutatorian award from the Southern College of Optometry. He is also certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and licensed by the Arizona State Board of Optometry. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Theobald enjoys playing golf and guitar, watching Arizona professional sports, working on auto mechanics, and spending quality time with his family.

Dr. Theobald explained the next steps in my treatment. He was very patient, kind and did not rush in and out. He spend time talking with me about my the findings in my exam.

I was pleased to get the appointment as soon as possible, knowing the emergency situation I was in due to high Eye pressure. The staff were kind and professional and answered my questions sincerely. The doctor was very kind and answered my questions with empathy and concern. Have been my Eye doctor for over 7 years. That is a testament to his excellent service. Thanks Doctor Theobald

I live a hour away but wanted to see a doctor with great ratings as Dr Theobald's, and could get an appointment soon. I wasn't disappointed, front staff was friendly but boy the technician that took care of me and did all the testing was great. She was very friendly, very knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and did a really through evaluation. Dr. Theobald took time and explain what was going on with my vision and laid out possible options. He explained some future concern and solutions that help put me at ease. Thank you!

Dr. Theobald is a wonderful doctor . He takes his time to explain to you all that is going on with your eyes and doesn’t get annoyed by doing so . He has such patience and kindness . I highly , highly recommend him as your eye doctor!!!
