Dr. Sharde Chambers is a board-certified cardiologist committed to advancing cardiovascular health through prevention, clinical excellence, medical education, and community advocacy. A first-generation American of Jamaican heritage and the first member of her immediate family to graduate from college, Dr. Chambers brings a deeply personal understanding of perseverance, cultural identity, and health equity to her practice. She completed her Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Morehouse School of Medicine, following her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital System. After residency, Dr. Chambers served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Internal Medicine, where she worked as a faculty member and hospitalist.Dr. Chambers earned her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly UMDNJ-SOM) and her undergraduate degree in Biology, with departmental honors, from the University of Miami. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University.Her clinical interests lie at the intersection of social medicine and cardiovascular health, with a particular focus on serving disenfranchised and underserved populations.
