About Dr. Sharnell Robinson
Dr. Robinson provides primary vision care, with an interest in ocular disease and dry eye. She completed her undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Spanish. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. Her experience includes externships at ophthalmology practices, community hospitals, and working at a private practice in New York City. Dr. Robinson is passionate about the optometric field, as it often requires creative approaches and critical thinking to improve patients' lives. Outside of work, she enjoys spoken word poetry, traveling, and exploring new cuisine. Dr. Robinson is also proficient in Spanish.

This was my first time visiting Dr. Robinson, and the experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made checking in really easy. What I appreciated most was how the doctor truly listened and gave thoughtful feedback. That's something I value a lot when meeting a new doctor, and she absolutely delivered.

This doctor's office was fantastic. The doctor addressed an urgent need right away and I was able to see a retina specialist same day and it was almost the end of the business day. They made it all happen at Dr Robinson's office. They really went above beyond. They even scheduled the appointment for the retina specialist and had gotten on the phone right away as soon as they realized my situation was urgent.

The appointment didn't start until 15 minutes after scheduled, even though I checked in at exactly the start of the appointment and the receptionist confirmed the system had me checked in. As soon as I mentioned the delay to the receptionist, I was called up within 2 minutes. I mention this as I schedule appointments around work so timeliness is really important to me and there didn't seem to be a real reason for the delay (the waiting room was empty when I checked in).
Other than that, the appointment itself was great! They have excellent staff that were efficient while being direct about each step of the process, which is great when you've been wearing glasses for 15+ years and are used to this by now.
