About Dr. Sharon Kressel
Dr. Kressel is a general Ob-Gyn who loves learning her patients' stories, counseling them to help them understand any aspect of women's health, and fine-tuning the patient experience to bring healthcare to the next level. She earned her Bachelor's degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Fun facts about Dr. Kressel: She was briefly in the “two under two” club with two boys, born in 2018 and 2020. She felt so passionate about the Liv opportunity that she flew to DC for the day and interviewed for her position when she was almost 36 weeks pregnant (and went on to deliver in the 37th week)!

Beautiful office with such a different feel from a normal doctor’s office. Dr Kressel really listened and made me feel comfortable and at ease. She answered all my questions and helped me to come up with a plan. Highly recommend her and this practice!

The doctor was brusque and now I have a rush in my vagine. I expected to have an ultra sound to check my ovaries and uterus as the doctor knew I have endometriosis but the visit was very quick and again, brusque. I will never ever go back! Terrible experience.

Great doctor but was not made aware of the the $100 membership fee (can not be covered by insurance) for the practice before arriving I would not have gone had I known. When I asked what was covered under the membership did not get a clear answer. Good doctors and staff just want folks to be aware of the membership fee before visiting.

There is a hidden membership fee (can’t say how much due to ZoDoc rules) that isn’t covered by insurance that the office doesn’t tell you about until after you are filling out your forms. If they would have said about it on the phone (I called after booking on here), I wouldn’t have an issue but they wait until you go the whole way there and while you’re working on forms to mention the *expensive* fee that doesn’t give any benefits at all. Just another charge.

Dr. Kressel is a gem. She's both incredibly smart and incredibly kind--that rare combination that's so hard to find in a doctor. She's an amazing listener and takes your concerns seriously, honors your preferences, and really allows you to play an active role in your own healthcare. At the same time she knows her stuff and I trust her advice completely. I feel SO lucky to have found Dr. Kressel. She's truly fantastic.

This is less for the doctor but more for the practice overall: they charge a membership fee that they failed to tell me about until I had already seen the doctor. This was nowhere to be found on ZocDoc and they never once mentioned it in my appointment confirmation or check-in process. Future patients BEWARE

I really appreciated her cheerful yet relaxing demeanor. She was very affirming and clear. For religious reasons, I’m not on bc/prefer to chart my cycle/am abstaining before marriage and she was super friendly about all of that. Usually I get unnecessary and accusatory follow up questions, but I felt that she was both trusting of me and thorough as a doctor. Highly recommend!
