“Dr. Davies is literally a sweet angel. After my first time visiting him pregnant, I knew he had to be the one to deliver my baby. I’m so extremely grateful I found him because his calming presence never makes any visit awkward or uncomfortable. Years after giving birth, I still return to Dr. Davies for all things gyno (birth control, Pap smear, etc). He deserves the highest praise!! I’ll never stop suggesting him to others! ”

About Dr. Shawn Davies
Shawn Davies, MD, is an experienced OB/GYN at Yorktown Health, located in Lombard, Illinois. He has over 22 years of experience with interests in both Obstetrics and Gynecology. His goal has always been to provide the best-individualized care possible to reach the best outcome. Dr. Davies attended college at Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets for four years. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, he attended medical school at Rush Medical College from 1990 to 1994. He completed his residency training at Rush University Medical Center from 1994 to 1998 in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Davies was board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in December 2000. He has been actively practicing as an attending physician since July 1998. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Davies is a father of four children and has always been active in coaching and refereeing their activities from AYSO to YBall.

Got a Pap smear, culture test, and IUD removed within 5 minutes. Dr. Davies had the best bedside manner and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I will 100% be returning.

My experience with Dr. Davies and the office overall was incredible. The front desk staff, nurses and Dr. Davies himself were all very nice, helpful and caring. I was seen right away upon arrival and completion of paperwork. The actual appointment for a general women’s wellness exam including pap was quick and easy, but still very thorough. I will be returning!

Dr. Davies is friendly, reassuring, and really gives all his time and attention to address any questions or concerns. He truly cares about the well-being of each of his patients. I feel great knowing that my health is in good hands. He not only treats the issue at hand but looks into long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues.

Dr. Davies is AMAZING! Listens to all your concerns and doesn’t dismiss any of your questions. Makes sure all options are considered and presented in clear understandable way. Makes you feel like next steps in care is something you came to together versus assuming that everyone would choose same options or path. Doesn’t rush you into surgery if not necessary. I feel safe and understood in care, unbelievable bedside manner. I will recommend him to everyone I know.

I've always avoided men doctors, because I felt like a woman could relate to me much better. This is not true. I was referred to Dr.Davies by a friend of mine. Best referral I've ever taken. He was very patient, kind, thorough, and informative. He took his time, I never felt rushed at all. He has excellent bedside manners.
