About Dr. Shivika Trivedi
Shivika Trivedi, MD, MSc, provides comprehensive general obstetrics and gynecology care. Dr. Trivedi believes in treating each patient individually so that she can deliver the personalized care patients deserve. She enjoys providing medical and surgical care for women with abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal pap smear results and high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Trivedi also specializes in contraception and family planning, helping women as they decide what options meet their reproductive goals. As a physician scientist, Dr. Trivedi uses research to evaluate current and new treatments designed to improve women’s care. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Obstetrics & Gynecology, Contraception, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and more. She has also authored book chapters on laparoscopic complications and management of abnormal uterine bleeding. Additionally, Dr. Trivedi takes true enjoyment in training and teaching medical students and residents, emphasizing the integration of evidence-based practice with the art of medicine. She uses this same passion when communicating with her patients to ensure shared-decision making to provide her patients with compassionate care.

I was hoping for a more collaborative, enlighten experience. She was pleasant and competent but not interested in my experiences or personal concerns. While not being overtly rude she was dismissive of my needs and opinions. If you’re looking for someone who is ‘strictly by the book’ it would be a great fit.
The admittance staff was excellent and knowledgeable as well as accommodating. The back office staff was rigid, uninterested and uninformed.
Overall not a terrible experience for what I’d consider to be the big healthcare machine but not something I’ll be repeating.

Dr. Trivedi had excellent bedside manner, explained things very well and apologized when I had to wait a bit to see her. I would highly recommend Dr. Trivedi to others.

I loved this provider! She really had great bedside manner: listened to me fully, made me feel comfortable, and reassured me about my concerns.
I would say prior to the doctor coming into the room, the nurse asked me so many questions and wouldn't let me finish my answers. It felt like she was just trying to get out of there, to the point where I wasn't able to voice all of my concerns. It made me feel nervous for what was to come.
But, when the doctor came in, she made me feel listened to and I left feeling satisfied with my care.
