“Easy to get an appt. Plenty of parking. The office space has a calm, inviting atmosphere. Dr Shrestha was very kind, listened to understand, and developed a good game plan to tackle the biggest issues. My biggest complaint was there’s a lot of ambient noise from the HVAC airflow, so it was hard to hear sometimes. Overall, very happy to have found them!”

Getting to know Dr. Shristi Shrestha
Dr. Shrestha is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist, proficient in treating clients who are 15 years and older. She holds a very strong belief in healing work with her clients through an integrative wellness approach. This holistic method to healing work combines medical treatment, psychotherapy, pharmacogenetics, the physical domain, and spiritual domain, for a truly holistic approach. Dr. Shrestha helps her clients struggling with problems regarding life stressors, adjustment issues, maladaptive coping skills, emotional turmoil, and learning deficiencies. She provides her clients with psychoeducation and medication maintenance to help them on the path to healing, in order to achieve happiness in life. She has worked with clients in a variety of settings including Veterans Affairs, Outpatient and Inpatient settings, Correctional facilities, and State hospitals. Dr. Shrestha completed her Post Graduate training in Adult Psychiatry from Texas Tech University and received her Medical school diploma from Kathmandu Medical College. She is currently fully licensed in the state of Tennessee. She believes in the importance of self-care, not only for her clients, but personally as well as a mental health provider. She meditates daily and is willing to incorporate this work with her clients by guiding them in meditation and spiritual practices when necessary. In her free time, she enjoys nature, loves gardening, tree planting, hiking, reading, singing and nurturing animals.

Everyone I’ve come in contact with has been top-notch. This includes phone and office personnel and psychiatrists, with one exception, to therapists! I’m really surprised by how well they’ve been able to “coach” me and “cheer” me along. This happens to be what I needed at this point in my journey, and it changed my life!

As soon as I walked in the door I had a peaceful feeling. My first visit with Dr Shrestha was very productive and enjoyable. She has a wonderful personality and is very easy to talk with. I highly recommend Lifestance for anyone needing psychiatric care.
