Dr. Sohan R. Varma is a Primary Care Physician and Internist (PCP), dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Elmhurst Hospital Center.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
We have a strict no-show and cancellation policy. A credit card on file is required within 24 hours of your appointment. We reserve the right to cancel your appointment if a credit card is not provided promptly.
If you booked an appointment by mistake, please cancel it on your end. Appointments not canceled are subject to a $75 no-show fee charged to your card on file.
Please review our policy on controlled medications: If you are a new patient seeking refills for controlled medications, Dr. Varma reserves the right to review prior health records, provide referrals for accurate diagnosis, and/or request a urine drug test before authorizing refills.
Per new DEA guidelines and to comply with the law, if you have not been seen in our office within the last year, we cannot fill any controlled medications via telehealth or video visits.
We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment for timely check-in. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, there is no guarantee you will be seen the same day, depending on the schedule. You may have the option to reschedule or wait for an opening during other fixed appointments or cancellations.
