About Dr. Soheyla Pezeshki
Soheyla Pezeshki, MD, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. As an obstetrician, Dr. Pezeshki provides prenatal care for a woman and her developing baby. As a gynecologist, she performs a variety of gynecological services and further supports women’s health care by conducting screening tests such as pap smears, HPV testing, and breast exams. Her special areas of interest are in menopausal care, female infertility disorders, and urinary incontinence issues.
Dr. Pezeshki did her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University and graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1994. She completed her residency at Sinai/DMC. Dr. Pezeshki is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is fluent in English, Turkish, and Persian.

The visit went well. It was for Mirena insertion. Everything went as planned. Followup 4-6 weeks. Dr. Peseski is amazing!

I am a former patient of the retired Dr. Marbac. Today was my first visit with this new one. I chose this Dr. based on her specialties listed in her profile, including that she is a surgeon. I felt like she didn’t listen to my concerns. She was nice and all but completely dismissed what I had been noticing. Wait times were ridiculous. I was in the lobby for over 45 minutes before I was seen.

Dr Soheyla Pezeshki is a Great Doctor. During my exam she Listened to all my concerns, gave advices, was very gentle with me. I would highly recommend her to anyone who just like me doesn’t like gynaecologist annual exams and Pap smears because of uncomfortable feelings. She was very gentle and caring. I have seen Dr. Pezeshki multiple times over the last year. She is one of the best gynecologists I've been to. She takes the time to listen to your concerns, offers solutions when she can, and takes all things into consideration. She is caring and compassionate, and truly cares about her patients. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Pezeshki has been my doctor for close to 20 years. She is extremely thorough, and truly cares about my health. She is always pleasant and I trust her as my healthcare provider. I live almost an hour from the office but refuse to change doctors because I am completely happy with Dr. Pezeshki. It's worth the trip.

This was my first visit to Dr. Pezeshki , she was thorough, explained everything I had questions about and spent a ton of time with me. She was very empathetic and ordered tests to investigate the issues I am having. I’m not a fan of doctor visits, especially if it’s a gynecologist- but she made the visit extremely comfortable. I saw that she has high ratings when I scheduled the appointment, and would give her more than 5 stars if I could.
Other staff members were extremely professional and friendly.
Additionally, I’m extremely cautious about social distancing and felt safe in the office during my entire visit.

Dr. Pez is the best! It had been 3 years since I last saw her and she gave me a big hug. She takes the time to ask you about your family is doing and makes you feel as if she cares about you as the patient. Bedside manner is so important and she nails that category.
