Dr. Yigazu earned his Medical Degree (MD) from Haileselasie I University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He subsequently completed a residency in Family Medicine at St Francis Hospital of Evanston and became a Board Certified Family Physician. He has also earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health Policy and Management (MPH) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

it was a very good experience, my doctor was extremely knowledgeable and very clear on what i needed to do to better my health and even recommended some great exercises to better myself. I will definitely be going back to the same doctor.

the doctor didn't enter the zoom call or didn't know there was a scheduled appointment and as a result I was waiting for 10 minutes. when he was speaking he was course at best and down right rude as he barely let me describe my condition. he prescribed a medication and left the call very quickly. I will never see him again.

I don’t think I’ve ever been treated with the callousness and abrasiveness that this doctor displayed during a recent virtual appointment. First off, he didn’t even show up until I called the office half an hour into when the appointment should have started. If it was just that, ok, not a dealbreaker, but this man was downright rude, abrasive, and unkind. He shut off the video several times during the appointment to talk to other people and barely spoke to me, and what’s more, he did nothing but demand my old medical records and treat me like some sort of suspicious hooligan even after I had provided them. No treatment was provided. Yikes. Avoid.

Worst doctor's office "visit" ever. I was scheduled for a video appointment at 8:30 AM. After waiting for 15 minutes on the video call and no contact from the office, I received a phone call from the doctor in which he asked why I wasn't on the call? Before I could explain that I had been waiting, he blurts out that none of prescriptions are covered by insurance, when's the last time I had blood work done, and what's the home address? Then tells me I need to get blood work done and hangs up the phone. I tried to call back to get follow up information and ask questions but there was no answer. I still have no idea why I need blood work.....?

I schedule a video call and it was on time. But not even five minutes into the video call he says wait because he has to take this.. I said sure no problem. But I want to say that call last about 30 min and then he got to me. He asked about how my meds were etc.... then said he’d put a prescription through to Walgreens and send me documents for getting blood work done..... none of that happened. This isn’t the first time I felt like I was put on the back end with him.... I called a couple hours after I seen no email and he says “I’ll put it in right now” I refresh my Walgreens app and nothing and even called them and they say nothing went through so they’ll contact him.... I got antsy and called at 4pm and the office is closed( ok cool I can wait) I called him the next day and each call gets declined.... even the cell.... and texted back saying can’t talk right now..... I feel like every time I need something from him I have to hunt him down just to get something so simple done....

We tried for about 30 minutes trying to get the video to work. Ended up talking on the phone. I did get the antibiotics I needed. I was terrified to go to a clinic with covid 19. He was very understanding. We agreed to try med for a few days and if I got a fever over 100° I agreed to go to get labs done. Thanks very much for your help doc. Tawnie
