About Dr. Sonia S Aneja
Dr. Aneja received her medical degree from Brown University Medical School in Providence, R.I., and completed her obstetrics and gynecologic residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. At West Penn Hospital she has been integral in starting the Family Planning Clinic, which provides comprehensive family planning services.
Prior to joining Allegheny Women’s Health, Dr. Aneja was a practicing physician with Duke Women’s Health Associates at Duke Medical Center.
She has medical staff privileges at West Penn Hospital and Allegheny General Hospital.

I don’t have enough positive things to say about my visit. I came here for a second opinion given her reviews, and she beyond delivered and met my expectations. She had a resident who was wonderful working, and even went above and beyond to take the appointment over because she could sense that I was anxious over my lack of answers from my last provider. Even if the results come back the same, her confidence and approach are what were so reassuring. Incredibly thorough and knowledgeable.
