About Dr. Sophia Wu
Pure OBGYN is affiliated with Mount Sinai West and NYU Langone.
Dr. Wu is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over 20 years of experience. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized gynecological care for women throughout their lifetime.
Dr. Wu joins Pure OB/GYN after being a clinical instructor at Weill Cornell Medicine Department of OB/GYN and an Assistant Attending at the New York Presbyterian, Lower Manhattan Hospital.
Dr. Wu received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Barnard College, New York City. She obtained her medical degree from SUNY Health Science center at Brooklyn. Dr. Wu completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Beth Israel Medical center (now part of Mount Sinai) in New York City. Dr. Wu is fluent in Mandarin.
