About Dr. Soyini Hawkins
With a genuine passion for the physical, emotional, and overall health and wellbeing of women, Dr. Hawkins has dedicated herself to caring for the whole person by creating a partnering relationship with her patients. She strives to assist individuals in making informed health decisions through teaching and ensuring the understanding of one's health status. Her skill set and style allow patients to become proactive partners in their health care. Dr. Hawkins earned her Doctor of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland, and pursued a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Pelvic Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center. Her areas of interest include management of fibroid uterus, abnormal menses, pelvic and bladder pain, and anti-aging.

I absolutely love Dr. Hawkins she helped me with my Endometriosis I have been to many doctors trying to figure out what could be wrong with me. Why i was always in so much pain during and after my PMS. The first day I has my appointment with Dr Hawkins she new right away after examining me what was wrong. She booked me for surgery as soon as possible. Here i am a year later no longer in pain she is the best doctor i ever had, even after my surgery she checked on me personally.

I love her! She was really thorough and answered all my questions! You can tell she loves what she does and wants to make sure you know all options and what is going on with you. I really liked her and appreciated her taking time to speak with me about all of my concerns. I would just tell people to double check with her office before booking. I went for a yearly exam, which is supposed to be free through my insurance, and the front desk said they wanted to bill me for seeing a specialist, even though I did not do anything required by a specialist. Just double check before coming. I might have to find another place to go because of the way her office bills insurance.

I loved the visit I had with Dr Hawkins. She was very informational. She answered all questions I had and more. This was my first time being her patient she walked me through everything and broke things down to me in normal terminology instead of doctor language. The other office staff was very nice I was greeted with a smile and introduced to any one I was handed off to. My wait was not that long, it was typical since I had to fill paper work out since I was a new patient. Overall I recommend this doctor to anyone.

I was greeted by a friendly lady at the front desk and, as soon as I was done with paperwork, was quickly called upon. Dr. Hawkins is a pleasant person, asked me questions and I felt very comfortable telling her and asking anything. She took the time to listen to me and recapped everything I said before at the end of the consultation. She gave me clear medical explanations about my concerns.
