About Dr. Stephanie Lambertson
Stephanie Lambertson, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry in 2022 from Indiana University's School of Optometry. She graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Pre-Optometry. Her optometric training utilized the most advanced technology to diagnose and treat ocular conditions. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association.
Dr. Lambertson believes eyesight plays a significant role in a patient's quality of life. She became an optometrist to be a part of the solution to providing patients with better sight, whether that involves glasses, contacts, or preserving vision through disease management; she loves it all. Her special fields of interest include ocular emergencies and dry eye treatment.
A native of Fredericksburg, Dr. Lambertson says she has found so much joy in providing eye care in her hometown and giving back to the community that gave her so much.
When Dr. Lambertson is not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling.

Dr. Lambert was very engaging. She showed me my eye photo and explained the spots that were there. Also, I was diagnosed by an ophthalmologist of having glaucoma, I was actually surprised by that. I have AMD. Dr. Lambert confirmed I don’t have it. My husband asked me who I believe. I said, Dr. Lambert. The ophthalmologist I saw was in a rush. And was not engaging.
Zach, who processed my my initial visit was very gentle, reassuring, patient and courteous. I very much appreciate his help. I am regretful I didn’t get his last name. He is a good representative for your company. An articulate young man.
Ms. Yesenia took care my glasses, payment and my insurance. Her knowledge of her job is very admirable. She gave me so many information about my glasses. She noticed my old glasses is not fitting well. Because, I kept lifting it high to see closer. She said that is not normal. Believe me I took it back to my previous optometrist. And assured me that there was nothing wrong with it.

I received a reminder about my appointment. The receptionist was very nice. While completing the paperwork, I had a question, and a nurse calling a patient quickly answered it without me asking. Dr. Shannon is extremely easy to talk to, and she is experienced. Open, transparent, and nice. If the doctor isn't listening, that's half the battle.

Very simple process and easy appointment. Employees were pleasant. Doctor was able to explain medical items in a very simple way.

I was actually 5 mins late for my sched time. The receptionist wasn't upset.
I went to the area and within 5 mins I was called into an examination room where an assistant took personal info and completed preliminary testing. I waited 10 -15 mins for the doctor. She was very congenial and I felt very comfortable. She completed the testing, showed me some pics of my inner
eye that had been taken and explained what the pics were and confirmed that I had no damage from my diabetes. A staff member also repaired my broken stem on my glasses w/o charge. I was very pleased.
