About Dr. Stephanie Tituana
Dr. Stephanie Tituana is a compassionate optometrist located in New York. She discovered her passion for optometry while completing her undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Brooklyn College. Dr. Tituana received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York and is certified by the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Tituana is devoted to providing comprehensive eye exams, including dilated eye exams, for patients of all ages to help preserve vision and eye health. She is passionate about delivering a high standard of eye care and takes pride in her role as an optometrist, caring for one of our most valuable senses-vision. She performs glasses and contact lens consultations and is skilled in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts, among others. Dr. Tituana is committed to ensuring her patients have a comfortable eye care experience. Her priority during any exam is to listen carefully to her patients' concerns and thoroughly educate them on their ocular health throughout the entire process.
As a first-generation immigrant, Dr. Tituana is passionate about connecting with and serving the diverse population of NYC. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, taking her dog Oliver on long walks, traveling, and engaging in self-care activities.

It was a disappointing experience overall. The office space felt extremely small and cramped, which made the visit uncomfortable from the start. The doctor seemed rushed and didn’t take the time to fully explain things or address my concerns, as she appeared to be multitasking between multiple patients. I left feeling like my prescription wasn’t handled with the attention it deserved, and the experience didn’t feel personalized or patient-focused. Stay away.

They told me after I filled out all the Paperwork ,that I could only get an exam and my coverage didn't cover any frames they had.
So I left bc all they were going to do was charge my insurance fir the exam and No glasses there were included in my coverage and the frames they had were an exorbitant amount of money that I dont have. And the prescription would not be accepted by another provider so in other words - they were charging my insurance fir an exam and they were gonna give me the prescription to buy frames and lenses somewhere else and other offices don't accept another doctors prescription so I'd have to get another exam at a different place and pay fir the exam bc fidelis only covers one appointment per year. So when I go to another place to bug frames and the lenses the optometrist wasn't going to accept their prescription.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff and nice exam space. The optometrist explained everything clearly and did not rush answering my questions. I felt like I had a thorough and good exam. She also didn’t push selling me on new frames. I will definitely go back for future exams.
