About Dr. Steven Sikalis

Steven P. Sikalis, O.D., earned his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College. While studying biology, Dr. Sikalis gained a comprehensive understanding of the human body. He then focused on the health and visual functions of the eye through optometry. This education allows him to offer you and your family a complete perspective on total vision health. In his own words, Dr. Sikalis says, ?Every person is unique. That's why I make it a point to get to know you individually. Everyone has special needs, from computer work to sports vision. You can always count on the personal attention you deserve. I'll listen to your concerns and work with you to provide the best possible solutions.? One of the first optometrists in the state to receive his therapeutic license to treat eye disease, Dr. Sikalis continually keeps his education current. When new treatments become available, his patients are among the first to benefit. Dr. Sikalis is a member of the New England Council of Optometrists, the American Optometric Association, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, and the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, where he served as 1st Vice-President.
