“I had an amazing experience at Estrella Eye Care! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Ms. Teresa, who guided me through all my initial eye tests with such kindness and professionalism. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable every step of the way.
Then I met Dr. Wan, hands down one of the best optometrists I’ve ever met. We had such a wonderful conversation — he’s a UCLA graduate, and since I’m also a UCLA alum, we instantly connected! He took his time explaining everything in detail, answered all my questions, and truly went above and beyond in making sure I understood every aspect of my eye health. His care and attention to detail are exceptional.
I was also assisted by Ms. Melanie at the glasses and contacts section. She was fantastic — patient, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about different frame styles and lens options. We had such a pleasant chat about travel, eyewear, and more!

About Dr. Steven Wan
Dr. Steven Wan completed his undergraduate degree at UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics.
While pursuing his degree, he discovered his true passion in Optometry - there’s truly nothing more rewarding than that ‘Aha!’ moment when a patient can see the world clearly!
After working a year in a pediatric optometry office as an optometric technician, he went on to graduate with Cum Laude Honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2013.
He has a special interest in providing phenomenal care while catering to your unique eyecare needs.
Dr. Wan has received many distinguished rewards including:
