I am a board-certified cardiologist with subspecialty training in interventional and vascular cardiology. In addition, I hold board certifications in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. I was born in Manipal, India, and raised in Hassan City, Karnataka. Growing up, I watched my father work tirelessly as a primary care physician—seven days a week—making a profound impact on the lives of people in our community. His unwavering dedication and compassion inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. I completed my medical school training in India, where I had the opportunity to work with underserved populations. This experience deepened my understanding of global health challenges and motivated me to pursue a Master of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. I then completed a dual residency in Internal and Preventive Medicine at Griffin Hospital, affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine. This unique training allowed me to work with diverse patient populations and gain expertise in preventive and lifestyle medicine.
