Qualifications and Experience
Suhas Tuli, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained in corneal and refractive surgery. She specializes in refractive small incision cataract surgery with accommodating, diffractive and toric IOL's. She is one of the few corneal surgeons performing DSEK (Descemets Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty) surgery.
Dr. Tuli chose ophthalmology as her career to be "able to make a difference to people." She also chose to be an ophthalmologist because it is one of the few medical specialties that represent the fine balance between the art of surgery and the knowledge of medicine. She has published extensively in peer reviewed ophthalmology journals, and has book chapters to her credit. In addition, she has spoken at several ophthalmology meetings; her field of expertise being corneal wound healing after refractive surgery. She studied this under the tutelage of Drs. Walter Stark at the prestigious Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Tuli completed her clinical fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery from the Doheny Eye Institute at USC (University of Southern California) following her ophthalmology residency. She has performed cataract surgeries in charitable eye surgery camps in India and plans to continue doing so. She has also taught residents at the Doheny Eye Institute. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

From first sign in to making a follow up appointment, my entire experience at Suhas Tuli's office was pretty top notch. Zero complaints and I only wish my other checkups (at dentist, doctors, etc) were this breezy and positive of an experience. Highly recommend!
Doctor and staff were very friendly. I was able to make a same day appointment and was seen right away. Staff worked quickly to resolve an issue with my pharmacy.
Thought was great - just what I expected
Dr. Tuli and her staff are very professional and caring.
Very nice office. Courteous and friendly office staff. Dr. Tuli was very nice and explained everything very well. I only had to wait, because there was an emergency, so I didn't mind.
Wait time for me factored in new patient processing. Was painless and quick. Assistants were welcoming and funny, doctor was thorough and efficient.
The office staff was friendly and I was seen right away. There was a mix up with my insurance, which took longer than my actual visit to sort out, but they were courteous, pleasant and engaging in conversation. Dr. Tuli was kind, and warmed up after we began speaking. In general it was a good office visit and I'd recommend her.
Good doctor, easy to understand, answer all my questions.
She is professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Her office staff is friendly and accommodating. We would recommend her highly.
Dr.Tuli and staff were very helpful and made our visit enjoyable. Good thing to know is DON'T SCHEDULE AN APP AT 11:30 until 1 because they go for lunch:]
The doctor was honest and kind. I would highly recommend her!
Great! There was a little confusion with the insurance. Probably would of saved time for them to call prior to the appt :) Otherwise, it was a great experience.
Dr. Tuli is very thorough. She did not rush through the appointment and listened to my concerns. I would recommend her as an ophthalmologist to anyone!
Excellent, I'll see her again!
Horrible. Dr. was impatient, rude and did not appear to be the least bit interested in my visual problems. She had her own agenda. Would NEVER recommend this doctor.
I liked her very much and will return to see her in the future .
Very pleasant, thorough, and professional.
