About Dr. Sunil Raichand
Dr. Sunil Raichand is a board-certified comprehensive general ophthalmologist and cornea specialist. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, graduating in the top 10% of his class. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago, followed by residency training in ophthalmology at Northwestern University.
Dr. Raichand then completed a fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases at Washington University in St. Louis Barnes-Jewish Hospital. His interests include cataract surgery, corneal transplants, diabetic eye care, glaucoma, allergic eye disease, autoimmune eye disease, and inflammatory ocular conditions.
He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
