About Dr. Tabata Bahiense Grodin
Dr. Tabata Bahiense Grodin is a board-eligible OBGYN practicing in West Palm Beach and Boynton Beach, FL. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has resided in Florida since 1998. Dr. Grodin received her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and her medical degree at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL affiliated with the University of Florida.
Since residency, Dr. Grodin has been serving the women of Palm Beach County as a hospitalist managing emergency obstetric and gynecologic conditions.
Dr. Grodin also has a role in medical education and is a clinical affiliate instructor at Florida Atlantic University.
Dr. Grodin is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has board eligibility with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In her free time, Dr. Grodin enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 year old daughter, dogs and pet turtle. She enjoys traveling and visiting our National Parks.

My experience sadly was not a good one. I received minimum 10 text messages for 3 days prior to my appointment reminding me of the time. I arrived 5 min. early, filled out the forms on line, & there were more at the office. I waited 1 hour, 10 min. before someone came & took me back for blood pressure & weight. Then sent me back to the waiting room. After 10 min., I was taken to a room. Another 20 min. passed, (wait time now at 1 hr, 40 min.) I decided to just leave. The office mgr. saw me & stopped me, asking me how she can help & offered to send the nurse right away. The Dr. was with another patient. The nurse came in, did not smile, was very "matter of fact", looked at my records, suggested a couple of procedures. (1 which she saw I had 3 weeks before). For me, 2 hours is an unacceptable wait time for a consult or a normal appt. The doctor never came in to meet me. This office is not a good fit for my needs.

So glad I found Dr. Grodin! She's very patient and actually listens to figure out a solution. Office was clean, but there was a long wait time because they didn't have a room open. Staff are really friendly and thorough.

Yes I would definitely return. This was my first time at the office meeting Dr. Grodin. She was extremely friendly and very thorough. She went through my entire health history, which is highly unusual, as some doctors don't even look at it. She answered all my questions. I left the office feeling very positive. I would highly recommend Dr. Grodin!

This being my first visit to the SOMA practice, it was refreshing to find such friendly and knowledgable staff. I was seen quickly, and Dr. Martin was so pleasant, with the perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism. She listened to the details of my "head to toe" story, and asked pertinent questions to ensure she had the full picture of my health history. Overall, the best medical practice I have encountered in a very long time!

I do not recommend unless you have 2 hours to kill. My appointment was at 9:00. I was finally checked in at 9:35, my vitals were taken at 9:45 then I was sent back to the lobby. I was brought back at 10:10. I was out by 10:25. I didn’t like that there was a nurse present during my exam but the doctor was very nice and welcoming.
