About Dr. Taleen Akopian
Dr Taleen Akopian is a Primary Care Physician, Board-Certified in Internal Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at UCLA and medical training at Touro University in Nevada. She subsequently completed her Internal Medicine residency at Huntington Hospital, where she also served as the Chief Resident. Dr Akopian is passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle, with a focus on preventative care and the management of chronic disease. She aims to establish long lasting relationships with her patients.
Dr Akopian was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and is proud to be serving in the community that she calls home. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exercising, and reading.

What a wonderful doctor. We had a conversation about my needs and my medical history and what my life is like, and really looked at everything as a whole. I did not feel rushed or like just another person to get through and move onto the next. I felt seen, heard, cared for and honestly feel super grateful I found her.
She gave me a phone call follow up( by her personally) regarding my lab results less than 24 hours after my visit. Couldn’t say enough great things about my experience.

Dr. Akopian is the best! She's the first doctor I've ever had that makes me feel heard and cared for as a whole individual, rather than just another patient to be rushed through. She's an excellent listener, asks the right questions, and provides excellent advice. I actually look forward to my annual checkups now because I know I'll be treated with kindness, empathy, and a positive attitude!

Dr. Akopian is phenomenal! I felt heard, cared for/about, considered and respected from the moment she walked through the door. She's incredibly personable and has an impassioned and preventative approach to health and care.
Her staff was professional and friendly. The appointment was efficient but not at all rushed...I felt like I had time to really discuss my concerns and the doctor hers. I experienced the most painless blood draw and injection (flu shot) that I've ever experienced at any doctor's office or lab.
After years of seeking a primary care physician that I'd like to return to (and one who I feel REALLY cares for their patients' health), I've finally found my beacon of light in the darkness and I am so grateful.

Best experience ever! The office was respectful of my time (which never seems to happen at the Dr). I was taken back right away at my appointment time and was not kept waiting in the exam room either!
The doctor was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, clearly communicating information that other doctors had either not known or just brushed past my inquiries.
I could not have been more impressed by this experience. I was in and out in 20 minutes, having accomplished everything I needed (including a well woman exam) did not feel rushed, and gained a lot of information.

Dr. Akopian was absolutely amazing. She made me feel comfortable and heard. I really appreciate the experience I had with Dr Taleen Akopian. I’m 32 and I just want to get my health on track for a better future with the help of professionals and I’ve never felt like any of my doctors listened to me or really cared about my health and so I was really hoping this would be different and it was! I am so happy with my experience and I am looking forward to hopefully having a doctor long term.

Doctor was truly excellent. She was knowledgeable and asked great questions to get a full picture. I didnt feel rushed at all, she was a very good listener & it was evident she cares about her patients. The office was beautiful - modern, clean, brand new, the electronics/devices were super new / snazzy as well. HIGHLY recommend.
My only rec for them is updating the voicemail to include both addresses & mention that you're at lunch from noon to 1 & maybe have a little At Lunch sign or something. I had an apptmt at 1pm & got there around 12:45 & the door was locked. I went around the back & called the number & it had a different address making me think I was at the wrong location & got me a bit flustered. I was about to leave & then tried once more & the door was unlocked & she let me know they had been at lunch. I think just a bit better communication about the lunch hour would be great. the doctor and office are absolutely wonderful in every other way.

Dr. Akopian is awesome. She’s smart and passionate about what she does. She really cares about getting to know you and helping you get to the bottom of things. Regarding other office staff, the nurse I got didn’t give the *most* painless blood draw but I’ll take it to have a good doctor.

By far the best experience I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office.
My old doctor’s office looked like it should have had a golden filter on it. Small bits of trash swirling in the gusts of wind from the open door, a stray dog nosing around and then leaving. A dmv for the damned. The place felt like water from the bathroom tap tastes.
My new doctor’s office shines. The open layout and free bottled water in the waiting room did not trigger my paranoia. If they were harvesting kidneys here it was in the back and I was being put through the customer side. I too felt I could buy an extra kidney.
