Getting to know Dr. Talin Dadoyan

Dr. Talin Dadoyan, MD, FACLP, earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine in 1996, where she also completed a residency in Internal Medicine. She later pursued a psychiatric residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). She also completed a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Currently, she serves as the medical director for the Community Care Center, an IMD. Dr. Dadoyan has been practicing psychiatry since 2001 and is board certified in general psychiatry. Additionally, she is board certified and has completed a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine, which focuses on the interface of psychiatry and medicine. She brings 21 years of experience to her practice.
Dr. Dadoyan and her team utilize a multidisciplinary approach and behavioral/psychotherapeutic measures, committed to providing quality and compassionate care. She is sensitive to the specific medical and psychiatric needs of adults and older adults, including the importance of avoiding polypharmacy. Spanish-speaking staff are available.
Dr. Dadoyan enjoys teaching as volunteer faculty for UCLA in psychosomatic medicine and participates in academic symposiums on bioethics and gero-psychiatry at The Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine.
She has admitting privileges at the Jewish Home for the Aging, Sherman Oaks Hospital, Encino Medical Center, and USC-Verdugo Hills Hospital.

She seems to care more about $$$ for herself and associates than patients. She had me running around to redundant, expensive appointments for simple management of a medication I've been successfully prescribed for over a decade. I was not comfortable, ended up going back to my former doctor even though the drive was longer.

Please run for your life - literally. One of the ABSOLUTE worst experiences of my life with the ABSOLUTE most awful "doctor". Not even in my nightmares could I have imagined someone so rude and unprofessional, not to mention horrible at her job. Please do not go here if you actually need help.

I thoroughly enjoyed my appt. with Dr. Dadoyan today and believe me, I don't enjoy going to the Dr.!!!! She talked to me like you would a friend and she even cracked me up a few times. She was also very proffesional, asking me various questions important to my treatment. I felt very comfortable though. It didn't feel clinical. She obviously knows how to talk to someone with so many ailments and not make them feel judged. Really great Dr. I would recommend her highly and want to keep her as my Dr. for a very long time!??
