About Dr. Tamara Goodman
Dr. Tamara Goodman is Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. After obtaining her medical degree from AUC School of Medicine, she completed a medical internship at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and subsequently pursued her residency in Neurology at the Northwell North Shore University Hospital- Zucker School of Medicine affiliated with Hofstra University. She continued at North Shore Hospital for a Fellowship in Epilepsy and electroencephalography (EEG). Dr. Goodman holds certifications in botox therapy for various conditions, including chronic migraine, cervical dystonia, and TMJ dysfunction. She speaks English and Russian, which makes her accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Dr. Goodman welcomes new patients to the practice who are seeking advanced patient centered care for a wide array of neurological disorders such as vertigo, headache, syncope, memory loss, concussions, neuropathic pain, and epilepsy.

This has to absolutely be one of the worst appts I’ve experienced in my life. First the receptionist inputs my information wrong then the manager tried to blame me for her reps wrongdoing. Started antagonizing me in third person the when I asked what’s the problem. Having the audacity to say something about having a physical insurance card after I clearly logged into my heath ins website. It’s 2026 people don’t even cash on them anymore yet alone their jobs about to be taken over by robots. Then as I’m on the phone trying to file a complaint with Florida healthcare the manager follows me outside antagonizing me even more now trying to force me to go see the doctor after they had me waiting for a hour due to their incompetence. The as I’m looking through my phone to provide my credit card information the other girl I think her name is Tanila has the audacity to make a slick unprofessional comment towards me because I stated I’m getting aggravated because their not doing their jobs.

I highly recommend Dr. Goodman for any neurological issues. She helped me with a diagnosis that made sense since I’ve been struggling with vertigo for eight months. I now have what’s called PPPD vertigo. She was so kind and listened to my story and took the time to understand what was going on. She ordered further testing and exams. Along with a follow up appointment. Her staff is very kind as well. I’m very grateful to have her insight and support for my medical needs.

It took almost an hour for the doctor to come get me to my appointment and take me straight to her office. First, brought me to the room and didn't even shut the door behind me. In the middle of our session, when I paid for her time, she stopped to take a personal phone call and left the room. When I was explaining my symptoms right away, like many doctors "this is just anxiety," which I don't have. She gave me a list of 7 supplements to take and couldn't explain what they were, where to get them, or even the dosage! She told me to take a specific fat soluble vitamin without first a blood test. This place recommends IV infusions, for something simple like magnesium. She recommended many in-office tests that would not be covered by my insurance and weren't even explained to me their purpose. This place has many available appointments for a reason!!! Avoid!!

The doctor was amazing, she’s a great listener. The girls in the front aren’t 100% tho. I had hard time hearing them, and as they repeated what they said before they gave me a little dirt look, and sometimes it seemed they didn’t want to be there by they way they talk to us. Not all the time tho, sometimes they were really nice, so it’s a little bit confusing… but the doctor makes it worth it

The entire staff were super friendly. But the wait time was kind of ridiculous. My appt time did not matter and I had to wait over 45 mins. The doctor I met with however was incredible - a good listener, knowledgable, friendly, and easy to speak to.
